Marmalade enjoys snacks, quiet conversation, and a gentle approach to petting

Every week, PelhamToday features adoptable pets via the Humane Society of Greater Niagara. For any inquiries about these adoptable friends, reach out to HSGN directly.

This week we would like to feature Marmalade.

Marmalade - 2000144714 - F
Black - DSH - 2 years

Marm is a sweetheart inside but is very, very nervous at the shelter. We know she wants to be friends with her exchanges of slow eye blinks but fear is making her keep her guard up. We’re sure that Marm would flourish in a home but is best suited to a quiet and calm home to help set her up for success. A slow and steady approach is the way to go with Marmalade. She enjoys snacks, quiet conversation, and a gentle approach to petting. Marmalade may enjoy the company of a more outgoing cat friend.
