Chicory is a 4-year-old, four pound, mixed-breed bun

Every week, PelhamToday features adoptable pets via the Humane Society of Greater Niagara. For any inquiries about these adoptable friends, reach out to HSGN directly.

This week we would like to feature Chicory.

Chicory is a 4 year old, 4 pound, mixed breed bun. He craves human attention and loves to be pet! He will even push his head under your hand for more pets if you try to stop. He has a calm and gentle vibe but does love a good binky session a couple times a day. Carpet gives him the traction he needs to catch some air when he binkies and zooms. His cool as a cucumber personality means he would pair well with a spayed female bunny who is either sassy/bold/confident OR shy/nervous/timid. Chicory was previously in a relationship with Primrose, and he low-key kinda wants to get back together with her (…ya know, once they’re spayed and neutered). Alternatively, he can go home solo to a doting family who will spend lots of time with him.

Chicory has 1 molar that doesn’t line up with his other molars. This molar will need to be trimmed by a veterinarian 2-4 times a year. Aside from his silly molar, he’s in excellent health!

Chicory needs a minimum of an extra-large dog pen as his home base with a large rectangular cat litterbox as his loo. He’s a great candidate to free-range in a bunny-proof home once he’s learned the house rules.

Adoption fee is $40 and includes neuter, RHDV vaccination and vet exam.
