On March 2, 2025 at approximately 9:35 p.m., 8 District (Grimsby/Lincoln/West Lincoln) uniform officers with the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) responded alongside the Grimsby Fire Department and Niagara Emergency Medical Service (NEMS) for a motor vehicle collision in the area of Woolverton Road and Kemp Road in Grimsby.
Initial investigation has determined a black Ford F150 was travelling south on Woolverton Road south of Kemp Road, when the vehicle lost control, exited the road way and rolled over an undetermined amount of times, ejecting an adult driver and an adult passenger.
The driver was transported to an out of region hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The passenger was transported to an out of region hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Two children under the age of 16, were transported to an out of region hospital with serious injuries.
Detectives assigned to the NRPS Collision Reconstruction Unit have assumed carriage of the investigation. They are being supported by detectives from the NRPS Forensic Services Unit. The collision remains under investigation.
