Cars being vandalized in St. Catharines

The Niagara Regional Police Service is issuing a public warning regarding a series of recent incidents in which vehicles have been damaged in the area of Carlton Street between Vine Street and Welland Canals Parkway, the City of St. Catharines.

Over the past few days, multiple reports have been received detailing incidents of vehicles being vandalized. The incidents are occurring overnight. 

Detectives with 1 District (St. Catharines/Thorold) with the Niagara Regional Police Service are actively investigating these incidents. Detectives are appealing to members of the public to assist with the investigation by being aware of any suspicious activity in their neighbourhoods.

If anyone sees anything unusual or suspicious in the area or Carlton Street, please report it to the Niagara Regional Police. 

Anyone who may have witnessed these incidents or anyone who has any information is asked to contact detectives at 905-688-4111, option 3, ext. 1009711.

Anyone with video footage or anyone who has dash cam footage is also asked to contact detectives. 

Members of the public who wish to provide information anonymously can contact Crime Stoppers of Niagara online or by calling 1-800-222-8477. Crime Stoppers offers cash rewards to persons who contact the program with information which leads to an arrest.
