It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mark Snell Sr, who left us peacefully on Friday, October 11, 2024 surrounded by his family, in the comfort of his home, at the age of 78. Mark was a loving father, husband, friend and had an unforgettable presence in the lives of those he leaves behind.
Throughout his life, Mark was known for his incredible sense of humor, his warm and loving nature and his generosity that knew no bounds. He had a unique way of lighting up every room he entered, bringing joy and laughter to all.
Mark’s almost 20 year commitment to sobriety was a reflection of his unwavering love for his family and his own personal growth. His life was a true inspiration, showing that change is always possible.
Mark will be remembered for his kind heart, his entrepreneurial talents, his love of skiing and his ability to turn even the smallest moments into lasting memories. He leaves behind his beloved wife Barbara of 55 years, his children, their spouses, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents.
A Celebration of Mark’s life will be held from 3-6 pm on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #350 - Port Dalhousie, 57 Lakeport Road, St. Catharines.
