It is with heavy hearts and fond memories that we announce the passing of Ken, who left us while he was surrounded by his beloved family at home. Ken was a loving and devoted husband to Wally (nee Neufeld) for 45 years. Loving father to his daughters Melissa and Nicole (Scott), and a cherished grandpa to Avery and Owen. Ken is predeceased by his parents Ken and Violet (nee McGowan) Roberts and his brother, Dennis. Loving brother of Linda, and a caring uncle of Scott, Steven (Karen), Sean (Jennifer), Amanda and Zachary. Ken also had many aunts, uncles and cousins as well as Wally’s family all of whom will miss him dearly.
Ken was employed at TRW from a young man and worked there until retirement. His life's passion was music and he started playing guitar at the young age of 10 years old. Ken spent decades sharing his incredible talent as a bassist with those lucky enough to hear him play. Music was not just a passion of Ken’s; it was the soundtrack to his life, bringing joy and inspiration to everyone he touched.
Beyond music, Ken had a profound love for the outdoors. He found peace and joy in nature, whether it was fishing on his boat or camping with his wife and children over the years.
Ken lived his life with passion and love, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of music, warmth and family will continue to live on, bringing solace and inspiration to those he leaves behind.
