Passed away peacefully at the Hospice Niagara on Ontario Street, St. Catharines, Saturday at 11:57 p.m. at the age of 75. Following a courageous battle with cancer for the past three years, Kathryn has now found peace without pain in Christ.
Survived by her devoted husband and best friend of fifty-six years, Howard. She leaves behind her sister Patricia Park (Bob), Ron Green (Mary), Rich Green and Anna Green (Randy). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, aunts Sharon Desjardin (Leo), Betty Green (Albert) in New Brunswick, many cousins in Welland and Hamilton and many good friends and neighbours.
Kathryn was predeceased by her parents Edward (Ted) Swain, her mother Helen Swain, her brother Dennis Riddell and sister-in-law Sharon (Gleason) Green.
Kathryn was born in Hamilton, where she lost her twin sister at birth.
In honouring Kathryn’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Considerate Cremation & Burial Services, 26 Nihan Drive, St. Catharines, on Friday, May 17, 2024, from 6-8 p.m., with prayers beginning at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at the Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, 34 Elgin Street, Port Dalhousie, on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 11 a.m.
