The following letter to the editor was submitted by the Pelham Art Festival committee:
On behalf of the Pelham Art Festival committee, I would like to deeply thank the community for their attendance and support in making our 37th festival a huge success with increased attendance and increased artist sales.
Our dedicated volunteers are the energy behind bringing the Pelham Art Festival to you each Mother's Day weekend.
Thank you to the many sponsors and donors, to all participants in our Art Around Town program, and to Giant FM on site all day Sunday handing out daffodils to the mothers, all the volunteers from the booth sitters, to the students serving food and working the attendance table, to the Niagara Launch students, the Kinsmen and the Garden Club who made set up and take down so flawless and all the weekend volunteers. We could not do this without you!
I am so proud to be on the committee of the Pelham Art Festival, one of the most dedicated, enjoyable and hard working groups of people you will find. A thousand thank yous to you all for the time and effort you put in all year round.
As of 2023 we have donated over $475,000 to the Lincoln Pelham Library as well as student art scholarships and community art projects.
Once our final numbers are tallied, we will be making our donation for 2024 to the Lincoln Pelham Library and student art scholarships.
