PelhamToday received the following letter to the editor in reaction to news that Ontario is allowing sale of alcohol at some convenience stores and gas stations:

I like the cartoons and funny stories..and John Swart's story of the iron woman...she reminds me of my wife. ..broken knee...broken shoulder, 78 years old and still cycling to the Y every week.

But the latest news about buying booze at gas stations is a hoot...it appears right after 17 people have been charged with DUI in Niagara this week. So now when you fill her up, you can really fill her up, then drive home.

Thanks, Rob Ford. MADD must be really mad at you—not to mention Johnny Hockey's family..
