PelhamToday received the following letter about a recent fundraiser for the Maple Acre Library:
The Friends of Maple Acre waffle brunch on March 11 was a great success. Thank you to all who were able to participate.
We thank all who have volunteered and helped in anyway at our fundraisers, in support of our garden and tree carving project throughout this past year: Willowbrook Nursery, Fenwick Lionettes, Fenwick Lions, Fenwick Firefighter’s Association, RBC, Safe Tree, Sobeys, Food Basics, GIant Tiger, DeVries and all individual donors.
With the support of our library staff, library board, town of Pelham and our entire community we did it. We have reached our goal. Please come out and visit our Lincoln Pelham Public Library, Maple Acre Branch at 781 Canboro Rd., Fenwick, to see our Tree Carving by Jean Pierre Gauthier and our new gardens with plants donated by Willowbrook Nursery.
