The male has been located deceased. No foul play is suspected.  Out of respect for the next of kin, no further details will be released. 

The Niagara Regional Police Service would like to thank the public and media for their assistance in this matter.

Officers from 2 District (Niagara Falls/Niagara on the Lake) of the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) are searching for missing person David Den Bak.

David was last seen on January 12, 2024, at 9:48pm, in the area of Mary Street near Mississagua Street in Niagara-on-the-Lake.  His means of travel is by foot.

David is described as:

  • White male
  • Approximately 190lbs - medium build
  • 5’11
  • Grey hair
  • Wearing a navy blue coat, black slip on boots and black pants

The police and David’s family are concerned for his welfare.  Anyone who may have information as to his location are asked to contact the Niagara Regional Police Service at 905-688-4111.
