1 District (St. Catharines/Thorold) detectives from the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) are investigating a suspicious fire in the City of St. Catharines.

On Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2024 at approximately 4:11 a.m., 1 District (St. Catharines/Thorold) uniform officers and the St. Catharines Fire Department responded to a fire at a residence in the area of Lockhart Drive and Marsdale Drive in the City of St. Catharines.

The investigation remains ongoing by detectives with 1 District and the Ontario Fire Marshal.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact detectives by calling 905-688-4111, option 3, ext. 1009573.

Members of the public who wish to provide information anonymously can contact Crime Stoppers of Niagara online or by calling 1-800-222-8477. Crime Stoppers offers cash rewards to persons who contact the program with information which leads to an arrest.
