Niagara Falls bandits make getaway in black Mustang

Two victims robbed of cash after making a withdrawal from RBC at 3499 Portage Road

On Tuesday, Oct. 29 at approximately 1:53 p.m. 2 District (Niagara Falls/Niagara-on-the-Lake) uniform officers with the Niagara Regional Police Service attended the Royal Bank of Canada located at 3499 Portage Road, in the City of Niagara Falls in regard to a robbery.

Investigation revealed that two victims attended this bank to retrieve some of their funds in currency. When they exited the bank two unknown suspects exited a suspect vehicle, approached the victims and stole the Canadian currency.

The suspects were last seen heading westbound on O’Neil Street in the City of Niagara Falls.

There were no physical injuries as a result of the incident.

The suspects are described as:

  • Wearing a handkerchief

The suspect vehicle is described as:

  • Mustang GT
  • Black in colour
  • Newer model 

Detectives with 2 District have taken carriage of the investigation.  Anyone with information is asked to contact detectives at 905-688-4111, option 3, ext. 1009219.

Anyone who may have been in the area, who may have video footage or dash cam footage of the area is also asked to contact detectives.
