More suspects sought in Port homicide

Niagara detectives have identified two additional male suspects wanted for first-degree murder in relation to the August 2024 homicide in Port Colborne of Daniel Sanvido.

Police say they are encouraging Jacob Cudney, 47, and Richard Stevens, 47, both of Niagara Falls, to contact legal counsel and make arrangements to surrender. Both are considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached, police say. Anyone with information of their whereabouts should call 911 immediately. This morning police announced that as a result of the ongoing investigation into this case, 36-year old Jade Hayward of St. Catharines was arrested on Jan. 2 and charged with first-degree murder. 

Hayward is currently being held in custody pending a bail hearing on Friday Jan. 3, 2025, at the Robert S.K. Welch Courthouse in the City of St. Catharines.
