Kenneth Harry Rhora passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by his loving family, in his 92nd year. He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Donna; daughter, Sharon; grandson, Wesley; his parents, Mary and Harry; and his brothers John, Jamie, Ted, Norm, and sister-in-law Maxine.

Ken is lovingly survived by his children, Debi (Rob), Diana (Lupo), Tina (George), and Mike (Ellen), as well as 12 cherished grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren (with one on the way). He will also be missed by his surviving siblings, Charles (Lina), Fran (Larry), his sister-in-law Brenda, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

Ken was a man whose remarkable achievements and humble spirit left an indelible mark on all who knew him. From a young age, he showcased extraordinary talent as one of Canada’s best fastball pitchers, earning the affectionate nickname "Smiley" for the joy and positivity he brought to the game. His athletic prowess extended beyond the diamond, with legendary accomplishments on the golf course—including a celebrated hole-in-one at Pen Lakes—and a perfect score in bowling, exemplifying his determination and love for sports.

Professionally, Ken served as a General Foreman, where he led with wisdom and integrity, earning the respect of his colleagues. His leadership inspired many, demonstrating strength, courage, and perseverance.

Ken also gave back to his community as a dedicated volunteer firefighter in Fenwick for many years, always ready to lend a helping hand in times of need.

Above all his accolades, Ken’s role as a father stood out. He provided unwavering support and guidance, instilling in his children the values of hard work, humility, and resilience. His laughter, wisdom, and endless capacity for love were the foundation of his family’s joy and stability.

Ken's family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Ken's granddaughter Joanne and her partner Dan Cudsy for their unwavering love and care as well as to his daughter Tina, her husband George and Ken’s grandchildren Al and Wendy for taking care of preparing meals for well over a year prior to him becoming ill and needing full time family support. Additionally, they appreciate Nurse Karen, John PSW, and the rest of the caregiving team, and the EMS Palliative Care Team for their compassionate support. Your kindness and dedication to Ken have meant the world to us.

In keeping with Ken’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and arrangements are entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Wainfleet Mastodons Baseball in care of Essentials Cremations would be appreciated.

As we reflect on Ken’s life, we are filled with immense pride and gratitude for the legacy he leaves behind—a testament to what one can accomplish with talent, hard work, and a generous heart. He has been our hero, our role model, and our guide.

Thank you, Dad, for being the incredible person you were. Your spirit will live on forever in our hearts.
