James Douglas Lane
It is with profound sadness that the family of James Lane announce his passing on Wednesday February 5th after a long courageous battle with cancer. He passed peacefully at his home in his 80th year, surrounded by his favourite girls.
Beloved husband of Tuula Lane (Karilampi). Cherished father of Karen (Dave) Shaw. Proud Gpa of Sabrina (Dave) Reiter, and GGpa of Bentley. Favoured brother in law of Sinikka (Butch) Speck, Sirkka (Joe) Giampailo and Mike Stortz (the late Leila). Predeceased by parents Wallace and Rhoda, brothers Gary and Gregory and Sister Valerie.
He will be dearly missed by friends John & Diane Durley, the M7 crew and all his friends over the years.
A special thank you to the Groen family, and the Paramed and VON teams for all their help and support during his battle.
A private ceremony for immediate family will be held at a later date.
