Married in 1946, Bernice & Don devoted their lifetime to grape and dairy farming. Mom was a true family matriarch. She baked and decorated cakes for every family birthday event and created many memorable summer vacations at a cottage. Her home was the gathering point for all festive occasions including Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving and birthdays.
Mom enjoyed their trips with friends to Alaska, Rome and Jamaica. She was a lifelong member of Fonthill Baptist Church serving in Mission Circle, Good Cheer Class, the choir or playing the piano. Mom lived a life filled with unconditional love of family, always putting the needs of others first. May we follow in her footsteps. She is now at peace with the Lord and reunited with Don.
