Susan quietly passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Niagara Long Term Care, Niagara-on-the-Lake. She was born in St. Catharines on September 9, 1932. She was predeceased by her husband, Jay (2007) and by her parents, Norman and Helen (nee Pirrie) James.
Susan will be dearly missed by her sons, Rick (Barbara) and Dave. She is survived by her to grandchildren, Sarah (Andrew) Minor and Rachel, and two great-grandchildren, Addison and Ella. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews and their families along with many close friends.
A special thank you to all of the staff at Niagara Long Term Care who treated Mom like family.
In honouring Susan’s wishes private family celebration of life gathering followed by a graveside service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to charity of your choice would be appreciated.
