WELLAND - Niagara's Greatest Show, the Welland Jackfish, announced today that they have agreed to terms with right-handed pitcher, Teodoro Ortega for the upcoming 2025 season.
Ortega, 24, returns to The Pond for his second season with the Fish following flawless late season addiZon. In 2024 Ortega recorded a perfect 0.00 ERA with a 2-0 record, 16 strikeouts and 3 walks.
Teodoro joined the Jackfish following four years in with the Texas Rangers organizaZon and one with Oakland. In five seasons in affiliated baseball, Teodoro recorded a 2.93 ERA with 140 strikeouts.
