SUMMERFEST '24: New website for this year's Summerfest

Ontario Cultural Attractions Fund grant helped it happen

Visitors looking to find information about Pelham Summerfest might notice that the website looks a little bit different this year. The new Pelham Summerfest website went live in May in advance of this year's event, which will take place in downtown Fonthill from July 18 -21.

Funding for the website and festival enhancements was made possible through a $40,000 grant from the Ontario Cultural Attractions Fund to support Pelham Summerfest 2024, which the Town applied for with support from volunteers on the Pelham Summerfest working group.

“Upgrading the website to make it more mobile-friendly and accessible has been something that Pelham Summerfest volunteers have wanted to do for a number of years,” explained Director of Recreation, Culture and Wellness Vickie vanRavenswaay. “Grant funding allowed the website to be updated as well as add additional fun elements to the expanded kids zone on Sunday of the festival.”

Users of the website will find information easily available, divided into the most popular searches, such as attractions for each day, ways to get involved with the festival, and the shuttle service and parking areas for Pelham Summerfest. In addition to the main pages, a frequently asked questions section covers everything from “Can I fly a drone over Pelham Summerfest?” to “What if it rains?” and more.

Those planning to visit Pelham Summerfest are encouraged to check out the new website to see all of the information about the award-winning festival. Additional information, including weather impacts if required, will also be posted as alerts on the website.

Pelham Summerfest has been financially assisted by the Ontario Cultural Attractions Fund a program of the Government of Ontario through the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport, administered by the Ontario Cultural Attractions Fund Corporation.
