Part of Pelham Town Square is closed until further notice.
The Town of Pelham says the road and sidewalk are blocked to both vehicles and pedestrians due to structural concerns over the arches.
“Town staff are on site and investigating the concerns,” said a news release from the Town. PelhamToday understands that bolts at the top of the structure have sheared off. Blustery winds on Tuesday were reminiscent of a wind storm that brought down the original arches in February 2019.
Residents are being asked to find alternative routes.
