Parts of Niagara can expect wind gusts of 100 km/h on Saturday

Wind warning issued for:
   Niagara, Ont. 

Current details:
Strong southwesterly winds on Saturday.

Hazards:
Wind gusts up to 100 km/h.

Timing:
Beginning Saturday morning and ending late Saturday night.

Discussion:
Exposed areas near Lake Erie will see the strongest wind gusts up to 100 km/h while gusts inland are expected to be in the 80 to 90 km/h range.

Loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage. High winds may result in power outages and fallen tree branches. Motorists, especially in high profile vehicles, may expect hazardous driving conditions on highways subject to strong cross winds.
