NIAGARA FALLS – This Indigenous Veterans Day, Niagara Parks is proud to host the annual Valour and Victory: Honouring Indigenous Veterans ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 1 p.m. at the Landscape of Nations Memorial at Queenston Heights Park. 

As part of this year's program, Parks Canada and the Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada will be unveiling a commemorative plaque honouring the national historic significance of Teyoninhokarawen (John Norton). To learn more visit niagaraparks.com/valourandvictory

Date: Saturday, Nov. 2, 2024
Time: 12:45 p.m. – Gather at entrance to the Landscape of Nations Memorial; 1 p.m. – Ceremony begins (rain or shine)
Location: Landscape of Nations Commemorative Memorial at Queenston Heights Park, 14184 Niagara River Pkwy., Niagara-on-the-Lake
Parking: Complimentary parking will be available on-site

*Please note Highway 405 will be closed during the time of the ceremony and guests are advised to take an alternate route off the QEW. Those using the QEW coming into Niagara should exit at Glendale Avenue (Exit 38) and take York Road (Regional Road 81) to the Niagara Parkway and Queenston Heights.
