*************************
Linwood Barclay, international bestselling crime writer, is appearing at the next Books on the Bench author evening on Monday, June 17 at Vieni Estates in Beamsville.

Barclay is the New York Times bestselling author of such hits as Fear the Worst, Look Both Ways, Find You First, and The Lie-Maker. In his brand-new book, I Will Ruin You, a teacher’s act of heroism inadvertently makes him the target of a dangerous blackmailer who will stop at nothing to get what he wants. The book became an instant Canadian bestseller hitting the charts upon debut on May 7.

Stephen King described it as “a page-turner that also has important things to say. You’ll get your money’s worth with this one!”

Barclay will be in conversation with local author Yvonne Van Lankveld. Someday Books will be onsite selling books for the author to sign following the discussion.

Tickets are $45 and can be purchased at LPPL branches in Beamsville, Vineland, Fonthill, and Fenwick, as well as online at this link. Each ticket includes a glass of wine and a $20 tax receipt.

Special thanks to event sponsors: The Jacob Senior Living, Niagara Peninsula Energy, Vieni Estates, and Jarod Brandon, Realtor.

The Books on the Bench author series is a major library fundraiser for Lincoln Pelham Public Library. Each event brings award-winning storytellers to the Niagara Region and showcases a unique venue along the escarpment. All funds raised support literacy and lifelong learning through programs and services at LPPL.
