A local author showcase, featuring both first-timers and seasoned professionals, is coming to the Lincoln Pelham Library Fonthill branch on Saturday, November 4 from 10 AM to 1 PM.

Twenty-two Niagara-based writers, representing such genres as children’s books, memoirs, and romance novels, will be on site to talk about their books, with copies available for sale. A draw for a $25 gift card, donated by Someday Books, will be held. The full list of authors participating is available at www.lppl.ca/localauthorshowcase. For those interested in writing, LPPL also hosts a monthly Writers Roundtable, facilitated by Yvonne Van Lankveld, a Pelham-based author. The next meeting is Monday, November 13 at 1:30 PM at the Fonthill branch. It is free to attend and those interested can register at any LPPL branch or online at lppl.ca/calendar.
