NEWS RELEASE
FONTHILL VOLUNTEER FIRE ASSOCIATION

The Fonthill Volunteer Fire Association proudly presents another amazing fun filled celebration, The Annual Ham & Turkey Raffle Night on Friday November 29th. We welcome all members of the community and look forward to meeting new faces!
The community is invited to Pelham Fire Station One on Highway 20 in Fonthill. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the first draw will be at 8 p.m. Food and refreshments will be available during the night including our very own, homemade sausage.
Proceeds from the evening will go to supporting the Fonthill Fire Volunteer Association’s ongoing work including supporting local community charities such as Pelham Cares.
“Events like this are an important opportunity to connect with our community,” says Association President Phil Toffolo. “Last year we were standing room only for parts of the night and we hope to repeat this year. Pelham Care has told us that they have more families registering for assistance and we are happy to be able to help through events such as our annual toy drive next month.”
In 1923, fifty-two volunteers banded together to provide firefighting services in what was then, the Village of Fonthill. Today, members of the Fonthill Volunteer Fire Association operating out of Pelham Fire’s Station One on Hwy 20 proudly carry on the tradition of providing service to their community.
