The Pelham Family Day Adventure will bring free family fun to the Meridian Community Centre again this year, with a lineup of activities geared toward families.
"Family Day weekend is a great time at the Meridian Community Centre as it fills with families enjoying time together. The addition of the paint the ice and family tree art projects are unique ways for residents to experience something different, right here in Pelham," said Town of Pelham Director of Recreation Culture and Wellness Vickie vanRavenswaay.
On Monday, Feb. 17, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., residents can participate in free events at the Meridian Community Centre in Pelham. Activities include a new create a family tree art project, drop-in family gym time with bouncy castles, laser tag sponsored by MYAC, face painting and balloon creations. In addition, community sports organizations, service clubs and not-for-profit organizations will be on site for the annual community expo. The fun continues on the ice with the family skate sponsored by the Fonthill Rotary Club or take part in the paint-the-ice activity. Additional action on the ice takes place when the Pelham Panthers Junior B hockey players take on the Hamilton Kilty B's at 1:00 p.m. with free admission provided by Tim Hortons.

11:00am-3:00pm - Cure the winter blues with some Drop-in Family Gym Time!
11:00am-3:00pm - Join the Pelham Raiders in the gym for an Introduction to Lacrosse!
11:00am-3:00pm - Intergenerational Family Day Art Drop-in Space!
11:00am-12:30pm - Bring your skates and helmets and enjoy a Free Family Skate sponsored by the Rotary Club of Fonthill! Rotary Club is accepting donations on behalf of Food 4 Kids.
11:00am—1:00pm—Paint the Ice! Helmets are required for children under 14 and strongly recommended for participants over 14.
11:00am-3:00pm - The Community Expo in the lobby will provide information on opportunities available to families in Pelham, including sports, service clubs, local organizations and more!
11:00am-3:00pm - Face painting fun will be available for all ages!
11:00am-3:00pm - Enjoy some family fun with Laser Tag available in the Accursi Room sponsored by MYAC!
11:00am-3:00pm - Halaloo will be twisting some wild Balloon Creations for families to take home!
The Lincoln Pelham Public Library branches, Town of Pelham Municipal Offices and administrative services will be closed on Monday.
