Looking for inexpensive stocking stuffers for kids and adults who love to read? Drop by the Fonthill Library to check out the bundled books for sale, ranging from $5 to $25. The annual event is a fundraiser for the branch, with monies raised going back into the funding coffers for the Lincoln Pelham Public Library system. There is also a Black Friday Book Sale running November 25 and 26. Bring your own bag, and fill it up for only $7.
Plenty of other activities for all ages are available this month at the Fonthill branch.
Dinovember is an opportunity for kids to hear stories about prehistoric creatures. It runs November 21 at 6:30 PM. Kids can make a dinosaur fossil print using air-dried clay on November 24 at 2 PM.
Babies and Books is a fun and social time with songs and stories for tiny tots and their caregivers, Wednesday at noon on November 15 and 22.
Story Time for kids age 5 and under runs Tuesday November 14 and 21 at 10:30 AM.

TGIF Crafters is an adult knitting and crocheting group that meets Fridays at 1:30 PM. Pups from Therapy Tails Ontario drop by the branch on Mondays at 2:30 PM. Service Canada will have a representative on hand November 29 and December 13 at 10 AM to assist with online access to EI, CPP, and OAS.
The next meeting of the Writers Roundtable is December 11 at 1:30 PM.
This month’s Storywalk in the Park features the book There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed Some Leaves!, available at Woodstream Park in Fonthill.
At the Maple Acre branch in Fenwick, there will be a reading of How the Grinch Stole Christmas! on Saturday, December 9 at 12 noon. In addition to the Dr. Seuss story, there will be Grinch-themed crafts and activities throughout the library.
At both the Fonthill and Fenwick branches, kids have until December 16 to pen a short note on a handmade or purchased seasonal card for older adults living in seniors residences in Pelham.
