“I was at home when I played my ticket and realized I only needed one more number and it was the last number I uncovered,” she shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her big cheque. “I was dumbfounded! I had to double check the ticket – I was so excited I burst into happy tears.”
The mother and grandmother called her family next to share her big news. “It was surreal to say the words, ‘I won $50,000.’ They were as shocked as I was. I had always hoped for a win, but I never expected it.”
She plans to put her windfall away for her future and will treat herself to a big television. “I feel good. I am very happy for this blessing,” she concluded.
Instant BINGO is available for $3 a play and the top prize is $50,000. Odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.68.
The winning ticket was purchased at Niagara Variety on Victoria Avenue in Niagara Falls.
