NEW DEMOCRATIC PARTY

GRIMSBY - New Democrats in Niagara West came together to nominate Dave Augustyn to be the Ontario NDP candidate in the next provincial election.
“Niagara West deserves a representative that stands up for them and a government that builds homes, hires doctors, fixes schools, and makes life easier,” said Augustyn. “For far too long, our community has been left behind by Doug Ford and his Conservatives. From delivering better health care to finally getting reliable GO service in Grimsby, I am committed to making sure that our community’s voice is heard. I am proud to stand with Marit Stiles and the Ontario NDP to be that government and bring our community’s voice to Queen’s Park!”
As the former Mayor of Pelham, Augustyn understands the challenges facing people in Niagara West. Six years of Doug Ford have left rural communities with crumbling infrastructure, backlogged ERs, and a skyrocketing cost of living.
“I am proud to have Dave on our team,” said Marit Stiles, Ontario NDP leader. “He has an impressive track record of delivering results for this community - from spearheading construction projects to protecting natural treasures like the Fonthill Kame. I am thrilled to have Dave as a part of our strong Team Niagara as we get to work delivering a better, brighter future for the people of Ontario!”
