Every week, PelhamToday features adoptable pets via the Humane Society of Greater Niagara. For any inquiries about these adoptable friends, reach out to HSGN directly.
Pistachio is a 5 pound dwarf mix bun.
He’s a bit over-prepared for winter and has been begrudgingly completing his workouts. His ideal weight is closer to 4 pounds and he’ll need to keep up with his strict diet and workout plan to prevent him from attaining beach-ball status.
Pistachio loves being pet by people he knows but has a bit of stranger-danger when it comes to new folks. His adopters will give him time to warm up when meeting him (some low calorie snacks help too!!). Pistachio sadly lost his bunwife to cancer and is hoping his new family includes a spayed female bunny.
He’s used to a sassy/opinionated ladybun but could also pair well with a gentle/docile bun. He startles with rapid movements and loud noises so he’ll do best in a home with kids over 12 years or an adults-only home. He is such a sweet gentle boy and we know he’ll make an amazing addition to the right home
Pistachio is a medium size bunny and will need a large dog xpen as his home-base until he’s learned the house rules and is ready to free-range.
Adoption fee is $40 and includes neuter, rhdv vaccine and vet exam.
