PelhamToday received the following letter about the state of snow plowing in Pelham.
It's been unusually cold lately and some, but not a lot, of snow has been falling. The Town cannot seem to handle this small amount of snow. On my walk this morning the roads and streets had not been plowed, the sidewalks were covered and slippery. Oddly I counted two trucks and a front end loader plowing out and salting the graveyard road, which is not a road people drive on.
Priorities are out of whack. Core responsibilities are not being addressed. It's probably time the local politicians had a word with the administration to figure out what needs to be done and when.
If you get an answer could you get back to us before spring?
