PelhamToday received the following letter to the editor regarding Pierre Poilievre:
Mr Poilievre has a ‘Canada First’ rally planned for Saturday in Ottawa. I wonder who will attend. Will Mr Poilievre friends Max Bernier or Jordan Peterson turn out to support? Mr Poilievre’s new rallying cry requires a strong pivot since Canada has come under attack from Mr Trump. He doesn’t harp on about a broken Canada.
Mr Poilievre is now stating that he would build new defense base in the Arctic, following Danielle Smiths suggestion a week ago. He also wants to cut foreign aid, posturing like Mr Trump. And about our border with the US, what will Canada demand from the Trump government as the guns, illegals and drugs come from the United States to Canada? Mr Poilievre can no longer pose as the knight charging forward to fix what he continuously called “broken Canada." He would do well to remember, just like in our national game of hockey, it takes the united team to win.
