PelhamToday received the following letter about our political system.
Is it just me or do others think our system is crumbling? The problem with politicians is that they are politicians, well most of them in our country anyways, they are not negotiators.
If the Feds would listen to what Trump actually wants we probably would not have a tariff war. Instead our so-called leaders have meetings to have meetings, and our lame duck PM is appointing all his Liberal favourites to the vacant senate seats before he is gone. If that is not outright corrupt, I am not sure what is.
Mexico just reached a deal with Trump to bolster border security and slow or hopefully stop the import of illegal drugs, and in return delay there tariff issues. Meanwhile our governments try to strategize ways of getting back at Trump, how childish.
Now please know I am not a Trumper, and it boggles my mind how a convicted criminal with so many black marks can be the president, yet here we are. I guess we are no different with all the garbage going on in our various levels of governments.
There is nothing wrong with increasing our border security to do the same and assist in stopping the illegal drugs and guns coming into Canada being deployed to all those criminal factions. By the way, ever wonder why there are so many criminal gangs in our cities? Well they just walked right in. And we have these same issues right in our back yard with politicians only seeking to achieve popularity instead of doing the right thing.
