Our family has been in Niagara for generations. For decades we've lived in our small rural township and watched as it grew, and grew, and grew. Now? Pelham and it's neighbours are blossoming into cities with hundreds of thousands of people. Before our eyes our small community, became filled with strangers. And we became strangers too!
Do you know your neighbour?
How active are you in your community?
We found we lost what was so natural to us,
overwhelmed by taking care of our own we forgot that we are stronger together.
We wanted to bring back the sense of connection and community that we felt was being forgotten.
Our world is often a scary place, the past 10 years have made it harder to imagine what the future will even look like.
From pandemics, to mental illness rates skyrocketing, and being inundated daily by the chaos of the world...It's no wonder we all feel a little less connected. At Common Ground we believe that coffee is a great catalyst to a revival in community building and togetherness.
If you are hunting for connection, consider this your invitation.
